Can you die before you get born

Travel for work sometime mean getting chance of seeing plenty plenty different places. Many never give themself chance, and just do the work and fly out of the place they go as fast as they fly in. Me, I love spend extra day or two day and relax.

In a very beauty park in eastern coast of America, I find of myself in a place where the park and a cemetary very close they meet. I see many people walking and passing beauty tombstone, juste like is another part of the park. And many people, they stop in front of one tombstone particular. I am curious, so I walk to it and after wait for others step away, I try see is what everybody looking. Was not such a sophistique tombstone so was not sure is why they fuse on it, until I read what is written on it.

Here Lies Trudy Marie Pool
Daughter of John and Marie Pool
Born Jan 1st 1996
Died Dec 31st 1995

Now I was juste stare of it, not knowing why what I am reading is just not sounding right when a man next of me says: "Poor girl, they did not even bother putting dates correctly. What a pity they make such mistake for someone that apparently is barely lived 1 day." Many others also were same sentiment and they keep complain is how somebody they allow a mistake as this. And when I visiting that park it is 1998-99, so is not as this mistake juste happen and nobody fix it yet.

According to this tombstone this poor child, she die before she born. And I know many around me they keep complain is injustice done of the girl, but me I not beleive such mistake is possible. For something as a tombstone, there is plenty time to catch a big error as this. Just think of it, somebody have got call the sculpteur and give order for tombstone (1st place for catch error); then after order is in, it is then send to the person who make actually etches (2nd place for catch error); the person who etch make proof read (3rd chance for catch error); after tombstone ready then parents have got check it out (4th chance for catch error; and last when is put on grave and family member they see it (5th chance of catch error).... You see is where I was going with this: this cannot be error! But there it is! still in big letters: Born Jan 1st 1996, Dead Dec 31st 1995...

I walk away from there back my hotel, and I was not able take this out my mind. Why? How? How can such mistake be? Is it mistake? Once back hotel I even try search internet for obituarie, but nothing. I was not able take of it out my mind. All evening I keep thinking of all people there so sad for girl who they beleive in her dying she is done such diservice by people who let something like this happen. But I not know why, I was convince in my heart and mind is impossible this is mistake. It will take me the next day on fly back to home to come up with theory that to this day I beleive is only explanation.

Ok, please try to keep up with this. So the date is showing born Jan 1st 1996 and dead a day before Dec 31st 1995. Well this is theory I come on that plane ride of mine. I was looking ticket of me, and as I flying back west, I see the time I get in Californie is only 2 hour after take-off, but flying is actually is almost 5 hour long. Bingo! I said "I got it!" Mr. John and Madame Mary Pool board a flight from London at midnite Jan 1st 1996. Madame Pool is much pregnant. They are heading New York and they flying the supersonic Concorde. 30 minutes after take off, over Atlantic Ocean, Madame Pool complain of loose her water and plenty contraction. And in very little minute the baby start coming. The hostesses they help her with a nice Docteur who also is passenger on plane, and Trudy Pool is born at 12:40am Jan 1st 1996. She look juste fine and Mommy start feeding baby and the flight keep going. You see, le Concorde is so fast is only take it juste 3 and half hour to go London to New York.

So when they take off London at midnite Jan 1st 1996, back of New York it is only 7:00 in evening Dec 31 1995 (5 hour back time difference). They land New York on time 3 and half hour later. As they are get off the plane Trudy start having breath probleme. Paramedics is called and they try give oxygen. But was too late. The physician check heartbeat and said "She is gone. Time of death 10:40 pm Dec 31st 1995". So there is my explanation, there is how a person is able Die before they Born.

In between places

This entry and many other to come, they are inspire by brilliant idea I got from friend of mine, the beauty and smart... Madame Redhead. I travel on plane very much and her idea is for me to write about different people I run into in the many airports. I said... "Wow!!! Brilliant!!". Why is it I not think of that!? After I tell her that "I want be like you when I grow up!" :) I am now setting up to start write my true first Blog.

It is true, my job is require me of plenty travel, and is maybe surprise of many.... But I love it! I love all of it! Getting to airport, standing on line with many other also catching plane, to destination you only can guess; finally getting on plane, listening to same routine of plane safety before every flight... "...to secure your seat belt, please take..." and yadah! yadah!, with the cute hostesses (I prefer to call them that instead of this stewardess thing they call them now:) walking up, down plane slowly for demonstrate same routine, over and over, before every flight.

Then the plane finally getting to move and roll until it is ready for taking off. Always is come of my mind, what if?.... What if?... The wing is break off, or the pilot is forget of put flap, or the tire they go out?..... All this question, not because I afraid, but because is part of risk human is willing take, and for me to live and to blog about it! :) I can go on about how much I enjoy the whole thing of flying, but I understand it that maybe not everybody is thinking as that so I go back to original idea of my blog.

My first story is one that is happen to me a while back and that has change me a lot in how I see books. Ok, I going too fast, I better start from beginning. I was in Los Angeles airport (LAX) terminale 4, waiting for my flight. Sitting in waiting area (2 hour wait) as usual, I was on internet on laptop wireless connection. The flight before flight of mine was boarding on same gate and the people start get on line and get on plane. As they start close door, I notice that person was sitting next of me, he forget his book, so I stop what I am doing, pick up book and start going for the gate.

When I get there, the hostess she say she is sorry, but they are closing of the gate and that not I or she is able get book to the man. She ask of me if I know the person, and I say her that I only see the person sit next of me, and no, I not know the name or anything else. As I am trying answer question of her, I start look at pages in book to see, if maybe there is name or signature in it. On first page, I read this first line: "STOP! If you are reading this line, do not put this book down until you have read this whole note."

This is handwritten on that first blank page (that now I realize it why many books they have that page - I never knew why they always waste blank page like that.... Now I know). Since the hostess she not going help me get book to the owner anyway, and then that first line I just read, I instead just walk back to my sit, the book in hand and open on that page with handwriting. I have since copy and keep the words so I going write down exactly what is says:

STOP! If you are reading this line, do not put this book down until you have read the rest of this whole note.

I did not forget this book behind by mistake. This was intentional. Everytime I finish reading a book, instead of stashing it away in some drawer or library shelf, most likely never to be read again, I pass it on: I leave it behind for another to read it and to hopefully in turn do the same by passing it on to the next reader. I read it from start to finish, usually in one of my long otherwise uneventful flights, I always write a note in it with my own commentaries: did I like it? Why? What did I get out of it? And then leave it behind with a message for someone else to hopefully find it, read it on his or her flight or layover, put some personal comments and nicely leave it behind for the next "roadwarrior".

Please read my comments at the end of the book after you have finished reading it and place your own comments. Wherever you may be going, what ever airport you may end up in, just place the book on a chair, and someone will pick it up just like you did and will get to read it and share in our experience and pass it on.

I sincerely thank you in advance.

First thing, I find myself having to read this 5 time, because I could not believe what I was reading. I start thinking that maybe I not understand the note well (my bad english). I start thinking who can think of such a thing? nobody can think of something as amazing and brilliant as this! But actually that person actually did it, and since then I am always of look out for book left behind like that, and whenever I can take myself away of laptop, I buy a book, read it, and use same words as above (plus my comments) and leave my book behind as I finish it, hoping somebody else they pick it up, and like me they get to read first line of the note I write that just says:

STOP! If you are reading this line....

Waiting for first Inspiration

Juste waiting for first inspiration to guide first true blog. For now just putting a few word so you know is something coming soon.
